So, after several nights on this beast of a fight, we finally got it down on the last day of the reset Excellently designed and incredibly well tuned fight, my favourite of the tier so far.

We’ve had some availability and also connection issues slowing us down on this guy and it feels great to have killed him. Some epic nerdscreams were had all round…. was a very dramatic kill for certain. Well done all and thanks to our backup healers Smackbaby and Effoc for putting in some serious cover time over the last few weeks, wouldn’t have been able to kill anything without you guys.

3 down, 3 to go in Heart of Fear. Still a lot of progression left this tier for us to plough through

Our third evening on WotE Heroic led to a kill. A greatly improved fight on Heroic, needed some pretty tight coordination to keep the adds under control, soak all the sparks and nuke the boss. We ran a 3 tank, 2 heal, 2 melee dps and 3 ranged dps comp, with which it took a fair while to get our strategy sorted and practiced, but got us a kill fairly quickly once we had the hang of the add control.

I’d like to thank the rest of the team for doing such a great job clearing Mogu’Shan Vaults Heroic so quickly, I think that our progress so far this tier has exceeded the expectations of the majority of the guild. With a bit of luck and a lot of effort, we will be looking to continue progressing at this pace throughout the rest of the tier and onwards into the expansion.

Exactly what it says on the tin! Pretty easy clear on normal, but can see some of the bosses being very problematic on Heroic! Think we may have to give Vizier a miss for a few weeks
